Here are a couple of occasional photographs from a trip to El Gomera in December 2004.

This is an island of great opportunities for hiking in spectacular and diverse mountain landscapes. Unfortunately, one of my camera memory cards broke and took many pictures with it.

Torre del Conde, a historical tower from the 15th century. The tower was already here when Columbus left La Gomera for America (or India, as he thought).
